ClimaSOS – Comenius Project on climate change

Abstract on the project ClimaSOS – eTwinning and Comenius project whose focus is the climate changes. This project is coordinate by Póvoa de Lanhoso Secondary School and includes schools from Cyprus (Eniaio Lykeio Kykkoy A’ from Nicosia), Hungary (Kölcsey Ferenc Gimnázium, Zalaegerszeg), Italy (Liceo scientifico Statale “Vincenzo Cuoco”, Naples), Spain (IES Cieza de León, Llerena), Sweden (Söderskolan, Sandviken) and, recently, from Romania (Liceul Teoretic Al. I. Cuza, Iasi).

Costruire un modello del cambiamento climatico in classe

Cambiamento climatico e riscaldamento globale sono diventati argomenti molto popolari e discussi che meritano un posto di rilievo nei curriculum scolastici di scienze. Come possiamo prevedere in quale direzione il clima cambierà? Sembra essere arrivato il momento in cui è possibile introdurre agli studenti i modelli climatici più semplici. In quest’articolo dimostriamo come gli studenti possono utilizzare un semplice foglio di calcolo per esaminare i principali fattori che influenzano il clima della Terra.

Intelligent Use of Energy in Schools – Project for secondary schools

Also available in DE, BG, CZ, DE, FR, IT, LV, RO, SL
The project aims to promote a more efficient way of using energy in every day life among secondary schools students and teachers.
IUSES will show secondary school students the basic principles of energy efficiency and give a comprehensive guide to saving energy in their everyday lives.
IUSES is currently developing a behaviour-oriented educational kit including: handbooks, multimedia animations and experiment tool-kit. The educational kit will be freely available for downloading on this web site.
Teachers and students will be actively involved in all stages of the project. In particular, they will test the educational kit and will provide feedback and suggestions to improve the IUSES kit.
